*****Ulster Scór na nÓg Final*****

The Ulster Final was this afternoon in Silverbridge. There was a packed hall in Co. Armagh, full of eager competitors and the standard was exceptionally high.

The first Antrim act to take to the stage was the ceilí team from St. Mary's, Aghagallon. The girls danced The 3 Tunes beautifully but narrowly missed out on the title to the home club, Silverbridge.

Mary Kate Bones was next on stage. She took part in the Recitation competition. She did an excellent performance of a recitation by John B. Keane. This competition was won by Co. Tyrone.

The final act to represent Antrim was St. Ergnat's, Moneyglass in the Instrumental Music Competition. Cara, Jane, Molly & Patrick played brilliantly and showcased their skills on fiddle, banjo, harp and uileann pipes. This competition was won by former All Ireland scór champions from Co. Monaghan.

To the competitors , Your families, friends and clubs are all so proud of what you have achieved. Reaching an Ulster Final is an amazing achievement and no doubt we will see these 3 acts back again in contention next year.

Maith sibh!
