An Antrim GAA spokesperson said,

"We welcome the additional funding allocated to the Casement Park project as a result of the UK Government’s spending review.

Antrim GAA’s priority is seeing the development of the site progressing without any further delay.

This summer marks 12 years that Antrim Gaels have been without a county ground - an entire generation missed.

We are continuing to work hard and engage with everyone involved to ensure Gaels across Antrim and beyond can enjoy a ground that’s befitting of our proud standing in the GAA community.”
