Project Work Commences at Casement Park

Antrim GAA/CLG Aontroma has welcomed the commencement of the necessary maintenance and pre-enabling works for the development of the new Casement Park/Páirc Mhic Asmaint which it has said will see the long-awaited redevelopment project get underway.

The initial site activity shall begin next week and will continue throughout March, focusing on initial ground works followed by site clearance from April to June.

Antrim GAA has been without its home venue for over ten years and new Chairman Séamus McMullan sees the project as a significant catalyst for the development of its games in the city and across the County.

Séamus McMullan said, “We have been working together towards this crucial milestone for the redevelopment of our home ground. The emergence of the iconic new stadium has the potential to be a catalyst for the growth and development of our games, across all codes, in the city.”
