Ballymena Juvenile Players Honoured At Mid & East Antrim Sports Awards

Juvenile player, Anna O'Kane was honoured last night at the Mid & East Antrim Sports Awards.
Held in Larne Leisure Centre, Anna was awarded the Balon Bursary, sponsored by the Balon Sportswear company.
The award was presented in recognition of Anna's dedication to her sports of Gaelic Football and Camogie, with particular mention made of how she has used her sporting involvement not only to deal with adversity in her life but to support and inspire those around her. A very worthy winner and fully deserving of the standing ovation she received by all in attendance.
Congratulations also from all at All Saints to Con Magees player Niall Hynds who was also honoured with a bursary last night. Niall overcame serious injury to return to playing Gaelic games and rugby. Both winners received £500 worth of sportswear from Balon which they get to design themselves.
