How did it feel to win a County Scór title?

Being the County Scór na nÓg recitation champion for the past two years has been fantastic! Scór has given me lots of opportunities. The highlight of my year has been taking part in the 1916 centenary celebrations in Croke Park. I got to represent Antrim in speaking part of the proclaimation in front of a full house and on live tv. It was brilliant and such an honour. 

I love paricipating in Scór na nÓg. I have met lots of lovely people and it has definitely given me great opportunities. It's a lovely way to celebrate and showcase our culture. With lots of talented young people participating, the future is bright for Scór!
