Name: Cormac Scullion
Club: Glenravel
Position:Half Forward/Half Back
Favourite Pitch played on: Croke Park. Lost by a point to Mayo in an U16 All Ireland Final. Still hurts.
If you could invite 3 people to dinner - Alive or dead. Who would you invite? Muhammad Ali, Axl Rose, Kate Beckinsdale (if the wife's busy...)
Best Player you have played with: Neil "Vic" "Old Man River" McCann
Best Player you have played against: Martin McAuley, Carey, when we were both alot younger.
Best game you have been involved in: Ulster Quarter Final 2014 against Carryduff. Stevie "Singer" Atcheson landed a monster point from wing half back to win it with the last puck of the game. He's been dining out on it ever since.
Best game you've ever seen: It was only 2 days ago but Waterford v Kilkenny in this years All Ireland Semi Final has to be up there.
Best trainer within the squad: Shanlee Kerr, but probably just because he says it so much we've started to believe him.
Worst training drill: 2 in the middle with the ball coming in from either side. Made worse by the stopwatch getting suspiciously slower each time.
Favourite Song: Paradise City, Guns n Roses.
Favourite Film: Full Metal Jacket
Favourite Holiday Destination: Probably The Maldives but Christy used to offer a weekend in Cullybackey to whoever scored the winning point in the match at the end of training. Still fancy that one too.
Best advice ever received: Be the best you can be and win your personal battle.
Biggest influence on club career: My Dad Raymond, closely followed by Noel "Christy" Higgins.
Club Volunteer of note: Archie Rae. Fixes sticks, sets out drills, part time physio, always has eggs and can arrive with a set of bagpipes at a moment's notice.
Biggest Strength in your game: High Fielding.
Which club would you like to see do well apart from your own: Cloughmills
Young Player within your club to look out for: Sean McKay
Best thing about the GAA: The buzz around Championship.
In 10 years time your club will: Be enjoying success at as high a level as possible and have a strong conveyor belt of talent feeding the senior teams.
