Bhí oíche den chéad scóth againn ag Scór Aontroma anocht i Lann Abhaigh. The County Final Scór Sinsir final took place this evening in St. Clare's Community Hall in Glenavy.

Fionnuala Mhic an tSaoir did a fantastic job as Bean an tí, míle buíochas !

We are absolutely delighted that we had 3 new clubs taking part who had never been in Scór before.

Unfortunately there were no entries for léiriú or rince seit and at last minutes the only rince foirne entry couldn't attend.

Solo singing was a very strong category with 9 singers entered. Sara Connolly from Loughgiel Shamrocks claimed the county title with a beautiful version of Bríd Óg Ní Mháille.

Aithriseoireacht title was won by Tomás Mac Giollagáin from Dunloy Cuchullains.

It was clear from the Ceol Uirlise competition that there is amazing talent in County Antrim. The standard of this section was extremely high with entries from 5 clubs.

Tír na nÓg were first on stage, followed by St. Ergnat's, O'Donovan Rossa and Dunloy Cuchullains. St Ergnat's were crowned County Champions in instrumental music.

Conn Magee's, Glenravel were delighted to be crowned the Ballad Group champions with a lovely rendition of 'Black is the Colour' and 'Here's a health to the company'.

Well done to all of the clubs that took part this evening, you all brought great honour to your clubs and communities by competing in a County Final.

A massive thank you to all from St. Joseph's Club in Glenavy for their hospitality and use of their brilliant hall.

Hopefully even more new clubs will enter next year and Antrim Scór will continue to go from strength to strength! Good luck to our County Champions who will compete in the Ulster Semi Final in Threemilehouse, Monaghan on 12th February at 7:45pm. Hopefully clubs that have never taken part in scór before will see what a fantastic competition it is and entries will be better and better every year!

A big thank you to County PRO Sean Kelly who came and kept everyone informed on what was going on through social media.

Let's make every club a scór club ! Ní neart go cur le chéile! ‪#‎aontroim‬‪#‎scór‬ ‪#‎cultúr‬
