firstly, thank you to yourselves and your club managers and players who participated in the club forum of 14th January.
This input has been extremely useful in shaping the fixture programme.
We appreciate the desire to get a handle on dates, to facilitate training programmes in your clubs.
Senior leagues are scheduled to commence:
Sun 24th March - Hurling;
Sun 31st March - Football.
Broadly, league games will alternate between codes as best as possible, taking account of both our dual and single code clubs and players.
We have included a fixture gap between 8-20 July - however, we reserve the right to utilise the second week of that to accommodate any re fixes as required.
Championships (with exception of SHC preliminary) are scheduled to commence:
w/e 2nd August - Junior B Hurling;
w/e 9th August - Hurling /Jun Football;
w/e 23rd August - Football.
To run on alternative weekends, hurling and football, thereafter w/e 23 August.
We are aiming to share a completed schedule of dates for senior competitions by next Monday evening's championship draw meeting.
