Scór na nÓg Ulster final
Last night, our 4 Scór acts took to the stage in Galbally and did an absolutely amazing job. First up , the Aghagallon Ceili dancers (Cliodhna, Louise, Caitlin, Caitlin, Caoimhe, Éadaoin, Emma and Angela) performed brilliantly and their cross reel was beautiful.
Next up, Mary Kate Bonnes from Tïr na nÓg did her recitation, which was an extract from Frank McCourt's Angela's Ashes. She was fantastic and got some great reactions from the crowd.
The Aghagallon ballad group (Caitlin, Louise, Caoimhe, Cliodhna, Emma) sang 2 songs, Colcannon and Sally Gardens and the girls should be so proud of their great performance .
The final Antrim act to come on stage was the instrumental group from Moneyglass (Micheál, Carla, Jane, Cara and Molly). Their musicianship and musical ability shone through during their excellent performance .
Unfortunately, we didn't come home with any Ulster titles this year . But we did come home with pride . These young people have put in hours of practice and preparation and have done their clubs and our County proud . The standard was extremely high and every act was of an exceptionally high standard.
