Scór competitor Méabh McNeill to sing in Croke Park
3rd September 2019
We are absolutely delighted to announce that County Scór na nÓg Champion, Méabh McNeill has been selected by the LGFA to sing Amhrán na bhFiann in Croke Park at the Ladies All Ireland Senior Football Final on 15th September.
Singing Amhrán na bhFiann at any time is a huge honour but to have an opportunity to sing in Croke Park, at an All Ireland Final, in front of more than 50,000 is the kind of thing most people only dream about.
Scór has given Méabh many amazing experiences including singing in Clones with the Artane Band a few weeks ago and now has led Méabh to Croke Park, the place everyone dreams of playing or performing in. Méabh is the current Scór na nÓg County Champion but is no stranger to the stage . She recently starred as Gabriella in High School Musical at the MAC theatre in Belfast and has been the in many school and drama productions. This is a dream come true for Méabh who is involved in many aspects of club life. She plays U16 football and also has competed in Scór since she was 7.
We wish Méabh all the best of luck as she sings in Croke Park on 15th a September. Maith thú agus bain sult as an lá.
