Run for Anto’ a raging success

More than 1,000 runners joined Dublin manger Jim Gavin, former forward star Jason Sherlock and the most famous trophy in Irish Sport, the Sam Maguire Cup in Falls Park on Sunday morning for the deterMND Run for Anto Colour Fun Run, but the star of the show was the man himself Anto Finnegan, who despite his illness continues to inspire the people around him. Joined by his wife Allison, son Conall, daughter Ava, mum Kathleen and father Joe the great man continues to raise awareness of this terrible disease and help raise money for continued research into finding a cure.
People of all ages joined in the party atmosphere, some content with just one lap of the park, but most completing the 5k distance on a day to remember.
