RELAUNCH OF CLUB AONTROMA
13th September 2019
Exciting times as Club Aontroma relaunches with #SaffronPassion at heart:
The management and development of the GAA in Antrim is in a strong, confident and vibrant era.
With our new and ambitious capital projects at Casement Park and Corrigan Park and our Centre of Participation at Dunsilly, as well as the GaelFast initiative, we have much to look forward to and plan for.
Our shared goal is to increase support for Gaelic Games and cultural activity within our county and to promote support for our county teams.
Our new committee seeks to attract more members into Club Aontroma to increase the funds raised for the GAA in Antrim.
With the relaunch of our membership scheme we invite new members to be grass roots ambassador for our county. Membership is £10 per month, which affords entry to All Ireland final ticket draws and free admission to our county finals.
Our county is blessed with the success of the Saffron Business Forum and the crucial funds which it generates, however Club Aontroma will provide grass root access to support our teams and Gaelic ethos and ambitions for the future.

WHY JOIN CLUB AONTROMA
1. Because Antrim belongs to all of us, it is our place and our home
2. Because we share as a collective ambition, a desire to see our county being successful and the Antrim jersey being something all of our children aspire to wearing and taking pride in.
3. Because we are committed to community, parish, club and county and we cherish the volunteerism that the GAA is built on. We are about contributing, not benefitting. We, not me.
4. Because we believe in Saffron.
Speaking at the launch of Club Aontroma at the new facilities at Davitts GAC, Chairman Niall Murphy said :
“Club Aontroma is an established identity in the GAA family in the county. With the success of the Saffron Business Forum we wanted to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to support our county teams. Building on the foundation of years of support, our new committee hopes to double the membership of Club Aontroma in the first year.
The principle ambition is to increase support of our 4 county team and to increase attendances at our national league games. We also look forward to working closely with our Camogie and Ladies Football Boards.
We also want to showcase the exceptional industry, innovation and ambition in our clubs which is why we chose the Davitts club to launch Club Aontroma. Davitts have created an exceptional venue in the heart of Beechmount which is an inspiration for all Gaels in the county, and no better place for us to renew our intentions for supporting the county.”
