Meeting with Senior Footballers

The County Board met with representatives of the Senior County Football team on Tuesday 25^th April to address some concerns over the suspension of one of our County footballers, arising from the recent National League match against Armagh. The issue had led to adverse media coverage in the press. The meeting with the players was very constructive and pointed to a number of shortcomings in relation to communications. Thankfully, the matter has been resolved and the focus from all parties will now be on preparation for the Senior Championship match against Donegal next month”.
