McKenna Cup victory over Queens

Two spectacular goals by Bam Neeson and an equally impressive strike by Mick McCann steered Antrim to victory over Queens in Wednesday night’s McKenna Cup clash at the Dub.
Neeson’s opening goal just after the change of ends brought the Saffrons right back into the game after they trailed by 4 at half time. (0-9 to 0-5). Queens hit back with a goal of their own to regain the upper hand but McCann’s brilliant strike turned the tide in Antrim’s favour and Neeson’s delightful chip in injury time sealed a 3-11 to 1-11 win.
