Legendary Antrim Goalkeeper Niall Patterson NEW Autobiography!

One of the legends of Antrim Hurling, Niall Patterson, tells the story of his career with club and county in his autobiography ‘Field of Brothers’ which will be launched in Loughgiel on Thursday night.
Niall’s story covers one of the greatest eras in the county’s history, when he was goalkeeper on the team that went toe-to-toe with the best in the game and reached the All-Ireland final in 1989.
As well as telling his own story, Niall’s book pays tribute to the countless greats who influenced his life and career with both Antrim and Loughgiel, who he captained to the All-Ireland club title in 1983.
The book’s launch will be a celebration of Antrim hurling and takes place at the Loughgiel Community Association, Loughgiel Millennium Centre on Thursday, May 26 at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome.
