Golden Gloves for juveniles

Yes you read that correctly. This year gaa handball are running a Golden Gloves for juveniles event over the first weekend in December and St Pauls GAC, Gort Na Mona GAC, Rossa GAC and Coláiste Feirste are all looking forward to hosting the best juveniles in the country.

Ducksy Walsh was a loyal supporter of the juveniles being part of the Golden Gloves and for many years sponsored the Boys 17 & Under Grade. In recognition of this and his untimely passing we will be commissioning a trophy in his memory for this grade.

There will also be coaching clinics taking place on both days with valuable insights from 3 time World Champion Fiona Shannon, current and 2 time World Champion Aisling Reilly and All Ireland Mens Senior Champion Charly Shanks.
