Con Magees & Sarsfields get #SaffronAid rolling!
9th December 2016
Many thanks to Catherine McQuillan for organising Con Magee's #SaffronAid
Further Collection times will be between 7-9pm Friday 9th of December 2016 at GCDA.
As Christmas rapidly approaches, let us spare a thought for those in our community who are less fortunate and support this year's Saffron Aid!
Antrim GAA in conjunction with Saint Vincent De Paul, are appealing for donations of shoe boxes for homeless men and women throughout Northern Ireland.
Families are encouraged to donate one wrapped shoe box, which should be clearly marked as being for a man/woman/family in need.
Suitable items include shower gel, shampoo, hats, gloves, towels, hairbrushes etc.
Collection times will be between 7-9pm on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th of December 2016 at Glenravel Community Development Complex.
For any further information please contact Catherine Mc Quillan
Thank you!
AND IT'S A 'WRAP' 🎁
Once again the amazing people of Sarsfields have pulled together and created something amazing.
"This Christmas we have put together over 90 boxes and counting 🎄
These will be distributed to families and individuals in our own local community with the help of Goretti and Jackie (Lenadoon Women's Group) and also to the homeless via St Vincent de Paul.
Thank you all so so much for your generosity. Merry Christmas! ❄️💋❄️"
