Club Volunteer Profile-

Name: Paul Jordan (Jordies)

Club: Naomh Una/St Agnes’ GAC

Role at club: Club referee and U10 u8 coach - ex player.

How long have you been doing the role?

Referee for about 6 years. Coach for the last 4 years after about a 10 year break.

Refereeing keeps me in touch with the playing side since I hung up my boots.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering at the club?

Coaching because youth is our future and love to see the kids enjoying the game that has meant so much to me over the years.

Most memorable moment or successful achievement with the club?

I played senior for the club for approx 27 years. Mainly midfield and full back and played in every division at some point. But my most memorable moment has to be winning the junior all ireland 7s at St judes in 2000. I played every minute of the tournament as roaming goalkeeper and won player of the tournament, my name is on the plague in St judes with numerous all stars on the list of previous winners.
