CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS - FEEDBACK FROM PRELIMINARY ROUNDS

CCC have been in attendance at Championship games, and it has been noted that there have been a number of pitch incursions by water carriers and Mentors during the games, as well as teams having more officials than permitted along the sideline and substitutes standing along the sideline. This is contrary to Championship Match Regulations 2019. CCC would ask Clubs to familiarise themselves with these regulations, thus avoiding the need for CCC to impose the penalties as set down for non-compliance.

It has also been noted that at a recent Championship Game, a number of small children were inside the wire during the Game, some acting as water carriers. This is not acceptable. In the interest of Safety going forward, no Child under the age of 16 shall be permitted to be inside the wire during any adult Championship Game while that game is in progress.
