Antrim took while to find their rhythm on the 4 g pitch in st Coleman's Newry ,but once they got to grips with the surface they started putting scores on the board .
Joe Mc toal opened the account for the saffrons and was aided by Daire Murphy in the other corner.
Antrim weren't having it all their own way and Armagh levelled midway through the first half.
The direct running by Antrims centre 3/4 Enda og Mcgarry was causing Armagh problems and it resulted in Antrim going in 4 up at the break.
The second half saw Antrim extend their lead to 8 before Armagh struck a goal and a point to reduce the margin to 4.
This however was as close as they were to get to Antrim with points from colla Mc Donnell, Daire Murphy, Enda og Mcgarry and a goal to finish the game off as a contest from the bustling Laim Mc Laughlin in pooch .
Barry Scott ventured out of fullback and finished a great solo effort with a well taken point to bring matters to a close on a full-time score of .
