County Scór na nÓg Ballad Group Champions , St Marys Aghagallon
Last year's ballad group county champions took time out to tell us a bit about why they do Scór and what it means to them.
Why do you take part in Scór ?
Some of our parents and relatives have been involved in Scór over the years and have had great success. We have always travelled the length and breadth of the county to support them and we just loved it so much . It was always our aim to do well but it was more important for us to have the chance to take part. We are all friends and we love to meet up and practice. We always have great craic and we have met so many people from other counties who we are friends with because of Scór.
How did it feel to become County Champions?
It was just brilliant. The standard was very high and we didn't expect to win so that was a bonus. Our families and friends were all so proud and getting to the Ulster semi final was a great achievement that we are very proud of.
