Coiste Chontae Aontroim CLG, County Convention

The 140th Coiste Chontae Aontroim CLG, County Convention took place on Monday night in the Dunsilly Hotel.

A number of officers stepped down from Coiste Bainistí with Chairperson Séamus McMullan presenting medals of appreciate to outgoing officers Dan McConnell (Communications), Paddy Kelly (Coaching) and Sean Kelly (Ulster Council Delegate). Terry Reilly has finished his term as Ard Chomhairle and will also finish his three year term on the National GAA Management Committee.

Fittingly, former Antrim Chairperson Joe O’Boyle who was the last Antrim GAA county committee member to sit on GAA Management presented Terry with his medal. Our thanks also go to Tony Shivers who also steps down from Coiste Bainistí.

At Convention the following were elected

Chairperson- Séamus McMullan (Conn Mag Aoidh)

Vice-Chairperson- Terry Reilly (Gort na Móna)

Secretary- Caroline Mc Laughlin (Naomh Pól)

Treasurer- Angela Callan (Naomh Comhghall)

Assistant Treasurer- Colin Loughran (Achadh Gallain)

Language & Cultural Officer- Paula Fyfe- (Conn Mag Aoidh)

Ard Comhairle Delegate- Frankie Quinn (Ruairí Óg)

Ulster Council Delegates (2)- Bronagh Lennon (Achadh Gallain) & Kieran Megraw (Lamh Dhearg).
