Niall McKenna put Antrim's first point on the scoreboard after 9 minutes of play as Roscommon established an early 3 points to 1 lead.

Ciaran Clarke and James Connolly kept Antrim in the game with a couple of fine scores each. Antrim played against the wind in the first half.

Roscommon who led 0-8 to 0-7 at half-time scored with a Jamie Lawlor goal early in the second half, and scores from Micheal Kelly and Jerry Fallon, saw the visitors build up a four point lead 2 minutes into the second half.

However Antrim Captain Conor Carson's goal after 49 minutes tied the game at 1-11 apiece, with Roscommon held to just one further point in the 68th minute as Antrim finished strongly.

Antrim Points from Ciaran Clarke and Eddie McCluskey widen the gap before Nigel Elliott netted Antrim's second goal seven minutes from full-time.

Ciaran Johnston picked up a nasty leg injury. We hope Ciaran makes a speedy recovery.

Antrim now move to the semi final stages of the Christy Ring Cup.

Final Score

Antrim 2-14 Roscommon 1-12
